Wedding

It was super fun to be with family this past weekend! It was great to be at Brett & Suzanne's wedding in the Ogden Utah Temple, June 20th. This month is full of family fun and I am very excited about it-even though it means lots of traveling with 2 kids. Here are a couple fun pictures of the joy of getting everybody to smile together!

Fire Station

Our ward has a field trip day and we got to tour one of the Twin Falls Fire Stations. Brandon didn't really want to see the kitchen or with work out room-because when we got to see the fire trucks he was very, very excited. Both of them had a good time. Here's a couple pictures of the fun we had!

Caving

Saturday Eric and I went caving in Gooding, Idaho (about 30 minutes from here). It was really awesome exploring inside lava cave formations. Don't worry-we went with professionals-I'm very grateful because I really got lost in there. Here are a few pictures from our adventure. Technically you're not inside a cave unless you can't see any light from outside-one cave that we went to is called Tea Kettle...here there is a big whole that lets light in, you crawl through a 'spout' to get down to it. So you can see light the whole time, but it was incredible there are ferns that grow there that you can't find in the desert-but grow here because the moisture the cave provides. The other cave was Spider cave-we did a lot of climbing, scooting through holes and walking over rocks that used to be on the ceiling but have already fallen-easy to get disoriented, but very fun. It was great to get away with Eric for an entire day! We were gone for about 8 hours and I thought Tyler would be a nightmare since he cries the whole time in Nursery. Wonderful Uncle Brett came up to watch the boys-and to my surprise they were perfect for him!

Love To All

I wanted to add a couple videos to my last post--but I don't know how it all works yet, and when I add something later it goes to the top and I didn't want it at the top--so anyway-whatever. I decided not to post Brandon saying the I Love You Barney song-it was just too big.

Brandon blowing kisses to everybody he loves!

Silly Entertainment!

The boys have done some silly things this week that I thought I'd share.

Brandon's friend Titus showed him how to make a duck bill out of Pringles. So here it us-of course by the time I got the camera out Brandon wanted to eat it. He did go quack quack even though you can't tell.

It's been COLD and WINDY here all week. We bought a new bubble machine which the boys LOVE and may I add it is only $10 and comes with the 6 batteries it needs to work-and you can use the cheap bubbles..can't get any better than that! So they want to play outside even though it's cold-so they have to get their jackets on just to enjoy bubbles.

I got my sewing accessories out to sew on a button (which you can see in the picture I don't do a lot of sewing, I don't have too many accessories)...Anyway Tyler was just having so much fun putting the spools in the jar and putting the lid on and dumping them out and doing it all over again. I enjoyed the simple entertainment as well.

It's crazy that when I give my kids suckers they get so excited. It's because they don't get them very often because even though they are little ones they still get all sticky and it's just annoying. So I had to get a picture of how excited they were!

Worms

Today we were just playing in the yard and Brandon found this huge worm, of course he picks it up and examines it and thinks it's cool. Tyler not so much-by the time I'd get the camera ready the worm would be on the ground. Normally when there's a bug Brandon is interested..but Tyler is picking it up, pulling it in 2 or poking it with his finger until the guts come out!

Later on there were 2 ducks in our back yard. We fed them some bread but they weren't very hungry. The boys still had lots of fun until they got too close and the ducks flew away.
